In their Shoes

Project

"In Their Shoes" is a history magazine aimed at teenagers and young adults. Each issue features a specific time and place in history, providing a preview of what it would be like to walk "in their shoes." This issue focuses on the island of Tahiti in the 1950s.

Objective

Capture the essence of 1950s Tahiti by merging vintage and traditional imagery with colorful, modern design elements to engage a young audience.

Challenge

Given that Tahitian culture is predominantly oral and Tahiti is a remote island, gathering content required extensive research and interviews with people from that generation.
